It is with great excitement that we announce the
resurrection of The Hindsight Bridge! This summer, new short fiction will be
posted to the blog every Monday afternoon in the months of June, July, and
August. With both new and familiar contributors, this summer’s season of
writing should prove to be interesting, engaging, and (hopefully) contagious.
In the spirit of this blog, we hope that you will participate by reading and
responding (critically or otherwise) in the comments section to each
contribution, as we continue to see THB as workshop/showcase—an impetus for
contributors not only to write, but complete, and
not only complete, but share.

Next time on The Hindsight Bridge: Robbie Pieschke initiates
the summer season with “Gwyneth,” the story of a young writer who, while navigating
the uncomfortably rigid social structures of high-school life, is faced with an
ethical dilemma at her high-school newspaper that uncontrollably spirals
toward a surprisingly chaotic and dangerous end. Gwyneth is forced to consider
the implications of “breaking the story” and “burying the lead.” If you haven’t
already, “like” our Facebook page here: THB FB
and visit often for updates. Finally, be sure to visit The Hindsight Bridge on
July 3rd for more!
